Project 365 - Photo of the Day - May 7, 2008

As I was walking from a meeting back to my office, I passed through gallery six and one of my colleagues from the Libraries Division was installing an exhibit on Asian art. I decided to snap these photos quickly before I headed back to the wonderful world of budgets!



This is a photo of a stringed instrument. I wish I knew the name, but it was so beautiful, the wood and the shape of the instrument. I wanted to pluck the strings but I figured that Babacar would yell!!










Babacar is holding a 15th Century teapot! I wanted to yell at him to put on gloves!! But look at his face, he is so excited about this exhibit.




And even though this is a bit out of focus, I liked the colors of this piece.
