Project 365 - April 18, 2021

Crack of Dawn

Went on my last morning walk with Greg this morning. For now anyway. He and Jan are leaving for their first vacation since the pandemic. I can’t believe that they will be gone for seven weeks. But, I will be fine.

I can’t say that I would have felt this way a few months ago. But there has been a shift in me and I feel more independent and sure of myself. I am okay to be alone. I have many things to keep me busy. Now that I am fully vaccinated, I feel more confident going out into the world.

I am ready to schedule a photo shoot and explore someplace new.

But, for today, here is my photo. Hope that you enjoy the view as I did many hours ago.

Project 365 - April 3, 2021

 A Visit to FAT Village

After meeting a friend for lunch at Sistrunk Marketplace, I decided to take a stroll through FAT Village since I was already in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and only one block away! I parked on NW 5th Street near Francisco Sheuat's gallery and went to visit him first.

It was so special to get a warm and friendly greeting.  It has been way too long since we have spoken.  I stayed for a short visit and then started to wander around FAT Village.  If you are not familiar, it stands for Flagler Arts and Technology Village and every last Saturday, they hold an artwalk there.

I have not been in FAT Village since way before the pandemic, and not during the day in years, since I used to help the Business for the Arts of Broward with their monthly arts tours.

These are some of my images of the murals and happenings. late on a Saturday afternoon.
