Project 365 - Photo of the Day - March 18, 2008

When I came home from work, all I wanted to do was put on PJs and climb into bed. In stead, that plan was shattered because Joel announced that we were going out to celebrate because he had just been elected President of the Inverrary Association for the ninth year in a row, something that he didn't want and tried desperately to get out of! But his "Inverrary Peeps" obviously want him to continue as president, so we picked up Gert (the Secretary if the Association) and went out for Chinese Food at a Dim Sum restaurant near us.

The Inverrary Association is made up of all of the presidents of the condo associations in Inverrary. There are about 19,000 residents in Inverrary -- a huge number of people, it is bigger than some towns in America. They are largely retirees and have a huge democratic voice. They can make a huge difference in the South Florida vote! So Joel is in charge once again. It is really okay.

After dinner we went next door to a pet store that only carries reptiles. These animals are so unique and exotic, I HAD to take more photos of these. Joel eventually got bored and went to sit in the car but Adina and Gert and I were so amazed. It was like going to a mini-zoo!
