So my girlfriend gave me an idea for today. She was playing with depth of field and motion. So I decided to play a bit. I grabbed Adina and said that we were going for a walk. Adina decided to take her scooter out for a ride. So I had her scooting back and forth in front of me while I played with the shutter speeds on the camera. I must have shot about 100 frames, but hey, with digital, it really doesn't matter.
In this shot a used a slow shutter speed like 30.
In this shot I slowed the speed down considerably to make Adina seem more like a ghosted image
We walked over to the lake, carefully and cautiously because there is a 14 foot alligator living in there! We found tadpoles swimming around. Adina was trying to catch them but I got spooked because I heard a splash and I wanted to get out of there fast!
Kids will always be kids . . . Here was Adina inspecting the tadpoles and trying to catch one to see what they felt like.
In this shot Adina was just looking way out at the lake and I liked the way the sunlight was shining on her hair. We were only outside for about a half an hour because we had to get home for dinner, but we spent some good quality time together and laughed a lot.
