The Morning After
Yesterday was Joels birthday. He would have been 67. Although it was not a difficult day for me, I did find myself talking to Joel. I told him all about how I am doing and that I miss him everyday. I wished him a happy birthday and told him that the girls and I would celebrate. Joel was all about celebrating events with food, desserts and presents.
Well, this morning I felt as though he gave me the present of a glorious sunrise. As soon as I left my house, I just knew that the pinks in the sky were going to be spectacular. And of course, I was not disappointed.
