Adina found out that work has its benefits. This was the first New Years Eve that my little one didn't spend the event with her family. Instead, she had a babysitting job! Since it was New Years . . . the pay was excellent! Adina and her girlfriend slept at her girlfriend's aunt's house. There were four kids ranging from 5 to 9 years old and they were both paid generously!Throughout the evening I received no less than five calls about how to get the kids into their beds and stay there, but eventually they were successful!
Although I was sad that she was not with us, I was glad that she was able to earn her own money and learn the value of the labor!
